When, and in what capacity did you begin with West Business Services? What position do you currently hold? What skills did you bring to your career at West Business Services that have served you well?
I started with West Business Services in 2000 as an Order Specialist. From there, I joined the conversion team and am currently a Service Manager. Before joining West Business Services, I worked for Marriott Corporation for 25 years, where in my final position I managed a team of 30 associates as a Customer Relations Manager.
What would you tell someone who was thinking of beginning a career with West Business Services?
If you're interested in how phone lines and services work from start to finish, this is the place to be.
West Business Services takes pride in being employee-oriented. Do you have examples of how this employee-oriented culture positively affected you?
I have seen and experienced the overwhelming outpouring of support - emotionally and monetarily - when someone has lost their home to fire or has lost a loved one. West Business Services genuinely cares about their employees and their well-being.
What words would you use to describe your job? What words describe West Business Services as a whole?
I would describe my job as giving complete client satisfaction, and placing a high priority on providing quality customer service to our customers. This is what West Business Services as a whole is all about.
West Business Services believes strongly in enabling employees to balance life and work. How has this approach affected you?
I really like the flexibility here. There will always be medical appointments and school programs that you cannot schedule before or after work. West Business Services works with their employees in these circumstances.
How does the company's leadership and management support help you effectively do your job?
My managers listen to my concerns and support my decisions.
